Baxi Baxi 600/800/Assure System 2 and 600 Combi 2 platform fault GM044-7
Average heating flow temperature value above the starting value
Gas boilerWhat it means
Shutdown caused by average heating flow temperature exceeding the starting value threshold.
Likely causes
- Sustained elevated flow temperature average
- Sensor failure requiring replacement
Where to start
- Note the position of each sensor before removal
- Prise the sensor clip off the pipe and disconnect the plug
- Connect the plug to the new sensor and ease the clip onto the pipe in its original position

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
