No YCC messages received for more than 180 seconds

What it means

Communication alarm triggered when no YCC messages have been received for more than 180 seconds since the last message. When triggered, software stops indoor and outdoor operations until communication is restored.

Likely causes

  1. Loose, disconnected, broken or short-circuited connector
  2. YCC stops sending messages to slave unit since YCC has been powered OFF or disconnected from the H-Link Line
  3. H-Link line has been damaged

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
