Samsung Gen 6 fault E912
Emergency stop
Heat pumpWhat it means
Emergency stop related to circulation pump operation and flow sensor installation requirements.
Likely causes
- Circulation pumps operating incorrectly
- Flow sensor not installed on horizontal pipework
- Insufficient straight horizontal pipework each side of flow sensor
- Heating not enabled at Zone level preventing heat pump detecting run signal
Where to start
- Check circulation pumps are not operating.
- Check flow sensor is installed on horizontal pipework.
- Ensure 150mm of horizontal pipework each side of flow sensor.

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
From the Samsung manual for the Gen 6. Check the model on the data plate before you order parts.
