Vokera Vibe fault CFS

Service call signal / periodic boiler control

Gas boiler

What it means

CFS signal indicates periodic control of the boiler according to an operating period set in parameter 707, controlled by parameter 706. When 706=1 and 707<4, CFS signal is shown. When 706=2 and 707=0, the CFS signal is shown without any stop of operation, and the INFO menu (I044) displays the number of days passed since the CFS signal appeared. The CFS signal occurs at 10 minute intervals for 1 minute duration, 1 month before the end of the period set in parameter 707.

Likely causes

  1. Service call function triggered (parameter 706)
  2. Fixed operating period for service call (parameter 707) approaching or reached

Where to start

  1. Check parameter 706 setting to determine function mode (0=disabled, 1=enabled with stop, 2=enabled without stop)
  2. Check parameter 707 value for the fixed operating period
  3. Check INFO menu line I044 for number of days passed since CFS signal appeared (when 706=2)

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
