Glow-worm Energy System fault F.89
Fault: pump
Gas boilerWhat it means
Pump circuit fault detected - not connected, incorrectly connected, wrong type, or shorted
Likely causes
- Pump not connected or it is connected incorrectly
- Incorrect pump connected
- Short circuit in the cable harness
- Noise persisting in boiler due to trapped air
Where to start
- Flush the heating installation through
- Check the silicone hose connection (1) between the pump's automatic air vent and the hydraulic console
- Fill with water until required filling pressure is reached

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
