Pump runs but no water is delivered because strainers are blocked.

Likely causes

  1. Strainers are blocked
  2. Blocked strainers common on initial pump installation or new buildings due to jointing compounds, tapes, flux and debris flushed through system
  3. Debris ingress into pump causing blockage or damage if strainer omitted

  1. Inspect strainers for blockage
  2. Inspect all flexible hoses and connections at least every six months
  3. Check for reduced shower flow performance indicating blocked strainers
