- Failure of indoor unit PCB
- Incorrect wiring
- Connection to PCB in indoor unit
- External forced OFF input signal received (e.g. from a demand response or external contact)
Where to start
- If circuits unexpectedly show OFF with Forced OFF icon, check the external forced OFF input wiring/signal source
- Verify configuration of Forced OFF input on the PCB

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
