Immergas Victrix fault DL
System deaeration procedure
Gas boilerWhat it means
Function to correctly perform deaeration of new central heating systems, particularly important for floor/underfloor systems. Cyclically activates the pump and 3-way valve to purge air from the system.
Likely causes
- Lack of water in the appliance
- Little water circulation in the system
- Blocked pump
- No gas
- Condensate drain clogged
- Disconnected PWM signal wire (when boiler is requesting ignition but pump stays in stand-by)
- Disconnection of the PWM control signal between PCB and pump
- Boiler electronics not requesting pump ignition (normal, condition OK)
- Boiler electronics requesting pump ignition but pump not responding (faulty condition, probable disconnection of the PWM signal)
- Blocked pump (Par. 1.29)
- Wear or degradation of manifold seals over time
- Manifold opened for maintenance requiring seal replacement
Where to start
- Access special functions as described in Paragraph 3.12 and select 'MA' function
- Ensure appliance is in stand-by mode (if connected to CARV2, stand-by must be obtained via remote control panel)
- Press and hold the INFO button for more than 5 seconds until display shows flashing double dash '--'

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
