Water too hot

What it means

Water temperature from the shower is too hot, caused by insufficient flow, blockage in supply, or increase in ambient water temperature.

Likely causes

  1. Not enough water flowing through the shower (2.1)
  2. Stop valves not fully open or blockage in inlet filter (2.2.1)

Where to start

  1. Check for blockage in the inlet filter
  2. Open the bleed screw on the pump unit by rotating two revolutions
  3. Observe for water flow from the opening to confirm trapped air is vented and pump is primed
