Vokera Pinnacle System fault E040
Low water pressure (definitive fault/lockout)
Gas boilerWhat it means
Definitive/permanent lockout fault due to persistent low water pressure, occurring when E041 is not resolved within 10 minutes.
Likely causes
- Unresolved low water pressure condition
- Persistent system leak
- Failure to top up pressure after E041 warning
- System pressure outside optimal range of 1.0-1.5 bar
- System water pressure drop below required minimum value
Where to start
- Check system pressure
- Investigate for leaks if pressure drop is frequent
- Check system water pressure against minimum required value

Safety: Isolate gas and power before you open the case. If you have been into the gas side, do a tightness test, and a combustion and flue check before you hand back. Gas Safe (UK) or RGI (Ireland) work only.
