Ideal Logic System IE fault F3
Fan fault
Gas boilerWhat it means
Boiler has detected a fault with the fan.
Likely causes
- Loose or deteriorated wiring connections between fan and PCB
- No continuity in fan wiring
- Faulty PCB
- Faulty fan
- Fan malfunction
Where to start
- Does the wiring from the Fan to the PCB have secure connections at both ends and has not deteriorated? Does the wiring have continuity? If NO, rectify wiring & connections.
- If YES, is there 230Vac at the Blue and Brown connections to the 3 way connection on the Fan? If NO, replace PCB.
- If YES, replace Fan.
