Mitsubishi Ecodan fault 14
In 2-zone temperature control, only Zone2 does not reach the set temperature
Heat pumpWhat it means
Zone2 fails to reach its set temperature when running 2-zone temperature control, typically because hot water temperature in Zone2 cannot exceed that in Zone1 when both zones are in heating mode.
Likely causes
- Normal operation (Zone2 hot water temperature does not exceed Zone1 when both in heating mode)
- Faulty wiring of motorized mixing valve
- Faulty installation of motorized mixing valve
- Incorrect setting of Running time
- Motorized mixing valve failure
Where to start
- Follow procedure described in General Operation section for set up operation to access service menu
- Use F1 and F2 buttons to scroll through the 16 service functions across two screens
- Check wiring of motorized mixing valve per installation manual section 5.3 Wiring for 2-zone temperature control

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
From the Mitsubishi manual for the Ecodan. Check the model on the data plate before you order parts.
