Midea R32 M thermal Arctic Mono fault EE
Hydronic system EEPROM error
Heat pumpWhat it means
Hydronic system EEPROM error (serial number 15). Displayed on user interface and hydronic system main PCB.
Likely causes
- PCB malfunction, memory corruption, power supply issue during write operation
- Hydronic system main PCB EEPROM is not connected properly. Hydronic system main PCB damaged.
- EEPROM fault on hydronic system main PCB
- Inverter module damaged
- Discharge temperature exceeding 105°C indicating high compressor load or high ambient/system conditions
- Hydronic box main PCB fault
- Damaged cables between hydronic box main PCB and outdoor unit main PCB
- Outdoor unit main PCB fault
- Incorrect or abnormal input power supply (N or L)
- Main board fuse damaged/blown
- Insufficient refrigerant caused by refrigerant leakage
- Low pressure side blocked by crushed or bent pipe, blocked EXV, or dirty filter
- Poor air side heat exchanger heat exchange in heating or DHW mode
- Insufficient water flow rate in cooling mode
- Outdoor main PCB fault (last resort)
Where to start
- Power cycle unit, check PCB power supply, test EEPROM communication, replace PCB if necessary
- Check if hydronic system EEPROM (IC18) is not connected properly. If not connected properly, reconnect. If connected properly, replace hydronic system main PCB.
- Step 1: Check if water flow switch connection (CN8) on hydronic system main PCB is loose

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
