LG Therma V fault CH35
Low pressure error
Heat pumpWhat it means
Evaporating pressure is excessively low
Likely causes
- Shortage of refrigerant or leakage
- EEV Error
Where to start
- Does water come out when the refrigerant port cock is pressed? If Yes: EEPROM insertion - check connection status / reinsert; replace product due to freezing.
- Is the amount of refrigerant normal? If No, check: Are there any signs of piping leakage or cracks? If Yes -> refrigerant charging after welding / reconnecting the area. If No -> refrigerant amount correction (additional charge).
- Is the strainer located at the front and rear of the EEV normal? [Note 1 - when temperature difference between front and rear of strainer is severe, freezing condition is visually confirmed, or if temperature difference confirmed, strainer clogging should be suspected]. If No -> reconfirming the possibility.

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
From the LG manual for the Therma V. Check the model on the data plate before you order parts.
