Midea R32 M thermal Arctic Mono fault PD
High temperature protection of refrigerant outlet temperature of condenser in cooling mode
Heat pumpWhat it means
Error code 33. Triggered by high refrigerant outlet temperature of the condenser during cooling mode, detected by user interface and refrigerant system main PCB.
Likely causes
- Fan motor damaged
- Excessive condenser outlet temperature
- Cooling mode fault
Where to start
- Check if fan or fan motor is blocked or damaged. Inspect and fix any errors found.
- Follow flowchart sequence starting at H0
- Evaluate each Yes/No decision point in order
The full answer, free
- 1 more check in order
- The readings and component tests from the manual
- The manual page for this fault (page 68), right under the answer
Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
From the Midea manual for the R32 M thermal Arctic Mono. Check the model on the data plate before you order parts.
