Ideal Logic Air fault 9.1.29
No central heating but hot water works OK
Heat pumpWhat it means
System diagnostic flow for central heating not functioning while hot water production remains normal, indicating a fault isolated to the heating circuit or diverter valve.
Likely causes
- Room thermostats not calling for heat
- Radiator valves closed
- Diverter valve stuck in hot water position
- Faulty indoor unit primary PCB
- Wiring between Indoor Unit primary PCB and Indoor Unit User Interface PCB not securely connected
- Faulty Indoor Unit User Interface PCB
- Hot DHW Cylinder target temperature set too low
- No 230V supply to the diverter valve
Where to start
- Check if room thermostats are calling for heat
- Check if radiator valves are open
- Check if diverter valve is stuck in hot water position

Safety: Isolate the outdoor unit and any backup heater, and give the inverter capacitors time to discharge before you open the electrics. Anything on the refrigerant circuit needs F-gas certification.
